The Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) is the country’s premiere and reference testing center mandated to promote self-reliant agricultural and fisheries machinery industry that would cater to and safeguard the interest of the filipino farmers and fisherfolks. As the premier testing center, AMTEC a) assist BAFS in establishing standard specifications, test procedures and performance indices for agricultural machinery; b) conduct test and evaluation of agricultural machinery; c) publish and disseminate test standards and test results; and d) provide technical assistance in the establishment and operation of the testing centers in the country.
