The Department of Military Science and Tactics is the Department under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs which offers Military Science courses to students taking up the National Service Training Program of the University. It is headed by the Department Head and Commandant of Cadets assisted by training personnel from regular and reserve forces of the Philippine Army. The office is located at the DMST complex which use to be the old infirmary building. Courses offerred are Basic ROTC (ROTC 1 and 2) and Advance ROTC (Military Science 31, 32, 41 , and 42). Graduates of the Basic course are incorporated in the Reserve Force, Philippine Army while those who finished the Advance courses are eligible for an Officer commission in the Regular and Reserve Force of the AFP.
